Search of Software (SOS) is an educational software database provided by New Era Technologies for a yearly fee of $190. SOS has over 6000 titles. SOS can be searched by equipment type, intended users, subject area, grade level, instructional method, and price range. Teachers can now teach students in several different geographical locations by using a teleconferencing network sold by Colorado Video. A new version of PASCAL is available from Think Technologies for $125. It has the advantages of a interpreted language and the speed of a compiled language. A photograph shows the basic equipment needed for Colorado Video's teleteaching system.
