Making the grade at Easter
Article Abstract:
The leading private schools in the UK offer a range of residential Easter revision courses for A-level and GCSE pupils. At Harrow, for example, students can attend a single half-day module for 50 pounds sterling, while a week's residential course involving one or two subjects costs around 600 pounds sterling. It ensures high standards by paying staff well and giving them immediate access to resources. Strong emphasis is placed on pastoral support, and this can play a key role in giving pupils more confidence.
