Pension rejig set to inhibit job mobility
Article Abstract:
Moving jobs between universities in the United Kingdom is expected to become more difficult as a result of the implementation of the Pensions and Finance Acts, which are due to come into force on 06 April 2006. The Acts, which represent the most radical reforms of the pensions system in the UK for decades, will give pension schemes some flexibility and it is this flexibility that could cause difficulties as the various schemes move the services they offer in different directions.
