Article Abstract:

Issues relating to the ability of disabled students to participate in field studies are presented. The 1995 Disability Discrimination Act has been extended to include education facilities and services, therefore universities must adapt their activity programs accordingly.

Chinese and other overseas students are important to the finances of United Kingdom universities. Improved relations with China have led to a rise in the numbers studying here, but lecturers need to be aware of the differences in their educational experiences.
