Kenwood's DVD home theater adapts to various A/V receivers

Kenwood Corp has launched its latest lines of DVD equipment and audio/video receivers. The high-end DV-2070 plays DVDs, Video CDs and audio CDs, and handles Dolby Digital and Digital Theater System formats for audio reproduction. The popular DC-203 features a 24-bit digital- analog converter, an eight-fold oversampling digital filter, third-order noise shaping and a twin-focus laser pickup. The company has also introduced its line of A/V receivers, including the VR-205, VR-207, VR- 2080 and VR-2090.

MB89580, MB89590 8-bit microcontrollers
Article Abstract:
Fujitsu Ltd of Japan has introduced two new series of 8-bit microcontrollers in Apr 1999. Both the MB89580 and MB89590 8-bit microcontrollers feature built-in Universal Serial Bus (USB) communications. The USB data transmitter has a built-in memory controller to allow direct transfer of data to a built-in RAM. Downports for up to four channels can also be installed.
