Shedding light on the resurgence of tuberculosis
Article Abstract:
A collaborative effort between the Electric Power Research, Consolidated Edison Co. and charitable organizations will conduct research into the efficacy of ultraviolet radiation for controlling tuberculosis infections. The UV light will be tested for its ability to destroy airborne tuberculin bacillus.
