IT products rather than PC and CE convergence products dominated COMDEX. Anti-spam and security software companies focused on hardware security. New products like Iomega Network Hard Drive by Iomega Corporation and Titanium Antivirus 2004 by Panda Software were unveiled in the show. Hardware products and laptop accessories were also exhibited prominently in the show.

Article Abstract:

An advertising research projected that the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) buying power in 2008 will reach $723 billion. LGBT people are responsive to companies with gay-friendly advertising and anti-discrimination policies. Other results of the research, and LGBT marketing strategies of various retailers, are discussed.
