Magazine, 'Dealerscope's,' list of the top 50 consumer electronics retailers for 1999, which is ranked according to sales, is presented. Best Buy of Prairie, MN, topped the list with sales of $10.3 billion, followed by Circuit City of Richmond, VA, Gateway of North Sioux City, SD, and CompUSA of Dallas, TX. The top 50 CE retailers collectively registered sales amounting to $85.02 billion, which is a 32% increase over 1998 sales.
