Sales in the cosumer electronics and appliance industries were driven by the introduction of new higher-end products, addition of installation services, and new technologies. The greater attention to customer service helped top retailers enjoy increased their revenue, margin and customer base in 2006. The sales strategies of various companies are discussed.
