Advances in technology is radically changing the way human resources (HR) management is practised. Future developments will see the replacement of the HR department by an e-enabled HR organization where employees, managers and annuitants can manage many career-related decision with an online experience. The evolution toward a knowledge-based economy continues and companies move toward the paradign of the virtual corporation, eHR is a necessary development.
