Article Abstract:

Crosstalk, which can be near end or alien, is defined as the noise induced from one active cable pair to another. It can be minimized by ensuring that the first run of cable are not perfectly parallel to each other. Definitions of crosstalk and suggestions for guarding against the problem are presented.
