Boeing runs into turbulence: Boeing readies an attractive new plane, but serious doubts persist about engineering, management, labor relations, and commitment to civil aviation

Article Abstract:

Boeing is facing a sharp challenge in civil aviation due to decrease in it's share from 75% to 50%, however a huge launch order for 7E7 dreamliner mid size jet and a positive first quarter earning report is presented. The growing labor disputes, concerns about the company's commitment to quality and excessive frugality makes it difficult for it to refurbish it's reputation for delivering first rate planes on attractive terms.
