Bringing in business is everyone's business

Article Abstract:

All employees in a company contribute to business development in the normal course of performing their responsibilities. However, client satisfaction goes beyond delivering quality work on a timely basis and within budget. Project managers, engineers and specialists can more effectively contribute to their organization's marketing and business development strategies when they serve clients with personal attentiveness and a winning attitude.

Leadership in transition: preparing your firm for your successor

Article Abstract:

Business leaders should train potential executive successors to facilitate the management transition process upon their retirement. The training covers areas such as the development of nonverbal behavior and improving confidence and competence in presentation style. In addition, the training should be supplemented by other acts such as enhancing the company's public image and keeping in constant touch with clients.
