Proven software adapted for creep
Article Abstract:
Standard commercially available software can be adapted to allow the long-term performance of anisotropic plastic components under load to be predicted, according to NPL. This is achieved by adjusting data entering Moldflow or PANDA so that it becomes time dependant. In this way, it is possible to avoid the limitations of bulk property-based creep analysis. NPL has produced a detailed protocol covering issues such as modelling and creep prediction.
