Theatre Projects Lighting Services' contract to manage the electrical installations for Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast production at the Dominion Theatre, London, England, was extensive and involved a range of specialist work. The company employed contractors and consultants to complete the work in time for the start of rehearsals in Mar 1997. Theatre Projects installed 63 km of cable and three new distribution systems. All services are controlled from the dimmer room, a space measuring 3.5 meters square, into which a range of equipment had to be installed.
