Medical technology burgeoning
Article Abstract:
The improved quality and greater convenience of new medical technology is frequently blamed for raising the cost of health care. Personal computers are preferred by researchers because of their adaptability and the sophisticated software available for signal and image processing. More instruments are using applications-specific integrated circuits to make vital decisions, an example being as pacemakers setting pacing rates. Lasers and image processing applications are growing rapidly. Biomedical engineers generally fail to attain proper recognition for their work.
