Getting certified is only the beginning
Article Abstract:
Maintaining an ISO 9000 certification is a continuous process which needs patience, discipline and dedication. After a company is certified, the registrar will conduct surveillance visits to inspect records from management reviews, internal audits and corrective and preventive actions. Noncompliances will be noted in these visits. Aspects wherein problems usually arise are corrective-action systems, management reviews and personnel changes in an organization.

Analysis is more than descriptive statistics
Article Abstract:
Thorough analysis of data requires examination of the measurement within a historic time-plot and filtration of routine variations. Simple descriptive data can amplify routine variations, thereby skewing any actions or policies that are to be based on the data. Longer time periods reveal the difference between routine variations and significant signals that require attention.
