Why the picture is right: a reply to Stein and Little
Article Abstract:
Writers Robert N. Stein and John Little repeatedly argue that effective countermeasures in ballistic missile defense would be difficult to implement and could be thwarted by engineering advances featured in modern missile defenses. They make a series of technical claims in support of this hypothesis that can be demonstrated to be erroneous. As an example, both incorrectly calculate the earth's curvature. Stein and Little's argument is rebutted.

Superdense optical storage
Article Abstract:
New technologies such as optical tape, high-density rewritable disc, electronic trapping and holographic storage could provide storage capabilities that exceedthose of current optical storage systems. Optical tape is a desirable storage medium because of its high volumetric density. Information on the other new technologies is included.
