Free trade
Article Abstract:
The environmental organization Greenpeace campaigns for an international free trade that does not sacrifice the protection and preservation of the environment. Greenpeace particularly recommends that the GATT and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) should be reworked to include provisions on environmental awareness and protection. The present NAFTA and GATT drafts are considered threats to the world ecology.
