Why a newsletter?

Greenpeace has changed the format of its newsletter to save money for more pressing activities. The loss in revenue is understandable since there is less contributions for the activities in Greenpeace. The newsletter still enables members to be updated on current issues. The current campaign Greenpeace is running is the ban of the production of chlorofluorocarbons and related products that destroy the ozone layer.

The answer is national standards
Article Abstract:
The election-year rhetoric about school reform targets 'choice' as the key issue. But even with choice, unless there is a centralized curriculum there will be no reform and less achievement by children. Other reasons for standardization, incoming a comparison with European schools, are given.
