Ontario city makes wet-dry work

Guelph, ON, has successfully pioneered a wet-dry solid waste management system. The $36 million Wet Dry Recycling Center is the first two-stream large-scale sorting system in North America and can handle 91,000 t/y of dry waste and 44,000 t/y of wet waste.

Prince Edward Island moves towards province-wide source separation
