Economics of supermarket organics diversion
Article Abstract:
A cost of service framework for analyzing the economics of commercial diversion is described. Proactive efforts will help in setting the stage for solidifying an established infrastructure where the synergistic efficiencies of generators, composters and hauling companies can enhance a process-driven concept capable of growing at a reasonable pace with known capacities, a financially responsible cost structure for the super markets.
