Out in London Fire Brigade
Article Abstract:
A 2002 staff census by the London Fire Brigade revealed that over 2% of its staff were gay. The brigade has been a mainstay at the annual gay pride parade since 2003. The programs and services aimed at the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transvestite community by the brigade are discussed.

Crude forms of homophobic harassment comprise the majority of cases under sexual orientation regulations. Most litigants in these cases are men. Several cases of crimes against gays in the workplace are presented.
