Company rehabs trunk sewer while rerouting 12 mgd of sewage flow
Article Abstract:
Insituform Technologies has rehabilitated a half-mile-long section of trunk sewer buried underneath a Tucson roadway, using its nondestructive pipe rehabilitation methods and a temporary sewage bypass pumping system. Insituform installed resin-saturated pipes in the early morning hours, when the least number of commuters were travelling. The trunk sewer serves 35,000 residents of southern and southwestern Tucson and transports 10 to 12 million gallons of sanitary sewage daily.

Isopolyester sewer line solves pipe deterioration problem
Article Abstract:
CIPP Corp's isopolyester pipe-within-a-pipe system proved to be the solution for the sewage pipe problems of residents of DeKalb County, GA. The Hudson, IA-based company's system, which utilizes a felt tube that contains isopolyester resin, became the viable alternative to digging the county's 30-year-old pipeline and laying in a new one. CIPP's system is credited for being able to save the community's taxpayers a substantial amount of time and money.
