Retaining their luster
Article Abstract:
Emerging applications for gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals are providing potential growth for precious metal recyclers. Despite an increase in mining operations for precious metals in 1999, recycling continues to provide a significant source of the metals. In the US, another factor contributing to the increased recycling of gold and silver is the establishment of city and state regulations requiring it.
