Paper recycling chase in Asian and European markets

China is consuming 43 million tons of recovered paper from around the world thereby adding to the pressure to upgrade residential recycling services worldwide. International demand for recycled paper is expected to increase at the rate of eight million metric tons per year.

Tequila, slaughterhouse wastes and composting

Tequila producers and swine slaughterhouses in Mexico's Guadalajara metropolitan area are combining their respective production wastes to create compost. This reduces the amount of abattoir residuals from the slaughterhouses directed to landfills.
