500 top company: Another year, another billion $

Related Group of Florida became number one on the Hispanic Business 500 in 2005 after growing its revenues by $1 billion in 2004. It defended and retained its number one position in 2006 by adding another $1.3 billion to reach $3.247 in 2005. Since 1981, Related Group has built and managed more than 35,000 residential units, primarily in South Florida, but the real growth came when Jorge Perez took over as Chairman and CEO.

The company's vision towards Miami's new urban lifestyle emphasized build-in construction and mixed-use projects also played an important role towards earning the profits.
