Article Abstract:

A survey conducted reveals that closing the ownership gap can boost economic development. The differences in wealth accumulation in moderate and low income homes who do not own homes are described where it is observed that children of parents who own a home perform better in school and have lower crime rates and live in better conditions than children belonging to parents who don't own a home.
