The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its recent convention October 1-4 without the fireworks that defined the previous convention in which a group of attendees objected to protest the board elections. This article discusses some of the new board members.

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce has elected its first female president, Melinda Guzman. Ms. Guzman, a lawyer and partner at Goldsberry, Freeman and Swanson, has served as a vice president of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.
