Article Abstract:

Business is better for businesses specializing in U.S.-Cuba investment advice since President Clinton eased trade and travel restrictions to Cuba in January 1999. Many of those companies studying investment opportunities in Cuba decline to comment on their investment plans for the end of the embargo. Some have become members of the U.S.-Cuba Business Council and other organizations. One company plans to test credit card chip technology in Cuba. The Pope's visit and the Administration's initiatives are encouraging signs of changes being close.

The huge turn out of voters on Tuesday, February 5, to vote for the U.S, presidential elections are reported. Besides the traditional social groups, there is a good turn out of the young and minority groups, particularly the Hispanics, to cast their ballots in CaliforniaEs Democratic primary.
