Carmen Suro-Bredie, who was the assistant U.S. Trade Representative for policy coordination has dedicated her life to serving the United States and has spent 30 years in public service. She was responsible for negotiating the first intellectual property agreement with the Soviet Union and Poland and was the chief architect of the Free Trade Area of the Americas agreement.
