Ice energy is making green by going green
Article Abstract:
Ice Energy Inc.'s innovative cooling unit, Ice Bear that can be plugged into rooftop air conditioners to reduce electricity consumption during peak hours is described. At night when the demand for electricity is less the Ice Bear makes ice which is used during the day to cool the refrigerant by pumping it through the ice and then resending it through the air conditioning system.
