Ginny Clarke, the chief of global diversity at corporate headhunters Spencer Stuart suggests that by embedding diversity, companies can get more diverse employees, managers and boardroom directors. She explains that as a chief, her responsibility is to have discussions with companies to understand their own cultures before trying to recruit or attract good people from other cultures for the posts of directors or employees.
