Companies owned by Hispanic American women are closer to achieving revenue equality with Hispanic American male-owned businesses than firms owned by women in general are to achieving equality with male-owned firms. Less than 3% of all women who own businesses in the US are Hispanic Americans.

The high-tech 50
Article Abstract:
Fifty outstanding Hispanic high technology companies had high revenues in 1994. Revenues rose a combined 27% in 1994 from 1993, to $1.54 billion, and job creation rose about 40%. Much of this was due to contracts with private companies. Profiles of several high-tech companies are presented.

A list of the top-50 high-tech business enterprises owned by Hispanic Americans is presented. The companies on the list provide services in the areas of telecommunications, research and development, and the Internet. Over half of them receive procurements from the federal government.
