Automobile makers are taking a new approach in their marketing strategies towards Hispanic Americans. The concept of brand management has been adopted as a means of creating greater brand loyalty among their Hispanic customers. Cadillacs posted the highest brand loyalty ratings among Hispanic car owners.

Automobile makers find that mechanical dependability, performance, and luxury will make consumers brand loyal. The three brands that polled 97% or better in a brand loyalty survey, were Cadillac, Pontiac and Honda. Buyers indicated that they were more loyal to the brand, not a specific model.
