Article Abstract:
A mother will be able to look back upon her own childhood for direction in parenting her daughters, but will not have the same route in rearing her sons. The gender-neutral stage of childrearing lasts only so long though they children may have been treated so that would grow up boys and girls alike. Mothers must raise their sons to go places that she cannot go.
