How memory develops
Article Abstract:
The ability to remember is an important part of a baby's cognitive development from the moment of birth. The intellectual, practical and autobiographical modes of remembering help shape who the baby becomes. A child is able to remember more as she ages. Understanding how memory develops helps encourage that development so that parents' expectations and children's abilities match.
