Parents' socioemotional investment in children

Article Abstract:

A study examined the reliability and validity of the 24-item questionnaire Parental Investment in Children (PIC), which measures the socioemotional investment of parents in their children. Its four scales are Acceptance of the Parenting Role, Delight, Knowledge/Sensitivity and Separation Anxiety.
