Mismanaged care: is your health plan putting your child at risk? How to know and what to do about it
Article Abstract:
Some managed care plans dictate the kind of health care that members receive. Parents could thus be putting their children at risk if they do not know and understand the restrictions in managed care plans. These problematic practices include limitations on well-baby care, non-coverage of important screening tests and a limited list of approved prescription drugs.

Choosing your plan of action
Article Abstract:
The proper equipment and manner of conducting toilet training should be considered to enable a child to progress without much effort. A parent should decide whether to give a child a small or a full-size potty with an accompanying stool. Correct terminology on body parts and functions should be taught the child as early as possible.
