Not just talk, maybe some risk: the therapeutic potentials and pitfalls of computer-mediated conversation
Article Abstract:
Professors John Miller and Kenneth Gergen emphasized the potential importance of the Internet communication as a tool in psychotherapy. They explained that 'chat groups' express their feelings more freely since they cannot be physically seen by the other conversants. This approach is essentially important in psychotherapy since the client or patient will not have inhibitions when expressing their problems and fears. However, therapists must caution patients that the Internet communication is not a substitute for therapy and provide guidance to those who utilize it.

Just in love
Article Abstract:
The concept of romantic love espoused by Henry Grunebaum in his essay is erroneous as it describes love as a higher and more complex form of emotional truth. On the contrary, romantic love is a condition wherein people escape from the truth. It is a form of temporary insanity whereby a person in love attempts to escape crisis and reality by injecting romance into their lives. On the contrary, factors such as friendship, understanding and supportiveness can improve relationships better than romance.

Response to "just in love." (response to Frank Pittman in this issue, p. 309)
Article Abstract:
Frank Pittman's work regarding romantic love is flawed in various aspects as it provided an unrealistic view on the nature and concept of love. Love should be seen as the biological tendency of a person to be engaged in a relationship with another and be happy in the company of his or her partner. People in love believe that life should be spent in the company of other individuals.
