Taking the bite out of toddlers
Article Abstract:
Biting is normal in toddlers who cannot express themselves verbally and decreases as they develop language skills. Parents should not overreact to biting and not encourage the behavior by screaming or acting amused. Giving toddlers more attention when they are not biting is helpful.
