Ouch! Another ear infection!

The shortness and angle of children's eustachian tubes increase the chances of having fluid become trapped in the middle ear. Tubes in the ears or an adenoidectomy can help prevent ear infections. Antibiotics can help, but overuse has led to the development of resistant bacteria.
