Parents can help their children overcome stage fright by helping them prepare for their roles in plays. They should be very encouraging from the start, and work with children on the script, character and plot of the play. Tips to make children more comfortable on stage are given.

Parents who limit their children's consumption of Halloween candy make their children want the candy even more. Children must learn the consequences of eating too much candy in one sitting. Parents can ration out the rest of the candy until it is gone.
