The best birth positions

A number of mothers and medical professionals believe that supine position which oftentimes cause laceration is not the best position in childbearing. The recommended delivery positions are crawling, standing, squatting, and sitting which relieves more lumbar pain than the conventional position.

Shaken baby syndrome
Article Abstract:
The anatomy of infants, heavy heads, weak necks and thin skulls, make them particularly vulnerable to being violently shaken. One third diagnosed with SBS die and one third suffer permanent brain damage. The effects on the baby of this kind of abuse, and possible signs of SBS are discussed.
