Silver Oak, located in Napa Valley, was co-founded by Justin Meyer, 58. The former Christian Brothers monk left the Brothers and started his own winery. He discusses having no regrets about his years at the monastery and his love of winemaking.

Cabernet Bosche, a Napa Valley original

Freemark Abbey's CAbernet Sauvignon made from Bosche grapes is very good and ages well. The wine is undervalued, and excellent vintages can be bought at auction for reasonable prices. A history of the Bosche vineyard is presented.
