Are customer loyalty schemes here to stay?
Article Abstract:
A report by Datamonitor claims projects that the number of customer loyalty schemes will increase up to the year 2000, after which they will be developed further. Home shopping to take larger share of food retailing
Article Abstract:
Home delivery, teleshopping, discounting and database marketing will become everday activities for Europe's leading food retailers within the next 15 years. Through teleshopping, food manufacturers will be able to bypass the retail sector, and superstores will therefore cut down on the number of product lines they stock. The discount sector will continue to grow, but only the strongest concerns will survive.
