Alsace's Indian summer

Beautiful October weather helped Alsace enjoy a rare Indian summer in 2001 and make some of the most delightful wines of elegance, finesse and pure fruit flavors. There are certain exceptions such as the top Alsace wines that have increased their prices, however, many estates are keeping their prices roughly equal to those for the 2000s.
