At close Grange: an intense tasting of 37 vintages reaffirms the reputation of Australia's greatest wine

Article Abstract:

A vertical tasting of Penfolds Grange wines from various years to be of either good or excellent quality. A 1990 Shiraz South Australia Grange at $150 merits a score of 98 of a possible 100, as does a 1986 Grange Hermitage South Australia Bin 95.

Issues are presented concerning the wines which can be served to complement the dishes served during a Thanksgiving dinner. The choice of wine can be white or red and the importance of considering all dishes before choosing wine is discussed.
