California wants to restrict wine promotions

Proposed new regulation being made by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control would prohibit wineries from advertising winemaker dinners, tastings, and wine education programs. Winemakers are angry about the proposal, which lumps their offerings in with 'bar nights.'
