California's new red wine values
Article Abstract:
A list of 50 red-wines from California that cost less than $20 produced in generous quantities, from recent vintages is presented where many of these wines are from well-known appellations such as Russian River Valley, Amador County and Santa Barbara. A string of good vintages in California, a grape glut and shifting perceptions about prices in the wine industry have boosted the availability of budget wines.
